Philosophy
Dallas Daws is a line of modern basics for the considered wardrobe, incorporating shapes informed by architecture and nature, as well as timeless tailored silhouettes. Since the inception of our business in 2014, we have put careful thought into every step of the process, from selecting quality fabric, developing refined designs, and constructing pieces that are made to last.
Each piece is crafted by hand in our studio on a made-to-order basis. We use quality techniques like French seams, when possible, to ensure your piece withstands years of wear. Our collections consist of natural fibers and quality blends, as we believe natural fibers work harder and wear in beautifully over time, in addition to being more environmentally sustainable.
Meet the designer
Dallas is a Los Angeles-based designer whose eponymous line of ready-to-wear pieces has continually matured and evolved into a collection of intentional basics. Drawn to pared-down, utilitarian shapes, Dallas works at eliminating the excess in each design, stripping it to essential elements while putting the focus on the details.
After completing her studies in apparel design, Dallas began researching ethically made apparel, and the idea of slow fashion resonated. It was here that her brand began. Natural material choices, along with a dedication to ethical in-house production, drive each collection and highlight her commitment to timeless, handcrafted clothing.
Our studio
We run the entire operation out of our Los Angeles studio, which is currently in the apartment Dallas shares with her husband. From drafting patterns, to cutting and sewing orders, and everything else that helps our business run, this small studio is the hub of it all.
